Ski socks made with PrimaLoft® Yarn by Fox River Mills and Lorpen received rave reviews in the New York Times Gear Test column, which appeared in the Style section last Thursday (2/18/10).
Mark Woolley, a certified ski instructor at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont, conducted the test for the New York Times to inform readers on what to look for when selecting ski socks.
Woolley tested the Fox River Rocky made with PrimaLoft Merino Wool Blend Yarn and Lorpen Tri-Layer Light socks made with PrimaLoft Eco Blend Yarn. He also tested ski socks from Thorlo, Smartwool and Wigwam. Woolley wore each pair of socks for two days, washing them between wearings.
